No prior experience in court reporting is necessary to join our groups.

To ensure homogenous groups and suitability to become an officer of the court as a court reporter, all RVT candidates are required to take a compatibility exam prior to enrollment.

The non-refundable fee for the exam is $50.  To take the exam, fill out a registration form at Apply Today.  Once you submit the form, you will be taken to a payment page where you can pay for your test.

RVT Prerequisites:

• Above-average verbal reasoning
• Above-average grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills
• Above-average in conscientiousness, detail mindedness, orderliness, and integrity
• Typing skills of at least 40 words per minute
• Intermediate to advanced Windows skills
• Above-average computer hardware and software skills
• MUST BE SELF-MOTIVATED FOR DAILY PRACTICE
