Yes. This program is heavy in technology training. You will learn the most current techniques our industry has to offer.
Dragon Naturally Speaking and Eclipse Vox. As of January 1, 2026, we also teach Speechmatics which has replaced Dragon as the speech recognition engine.
Training is 20 weeks of live classes. All classes are recorded and uploaded to the training portal shortly after the live class. Winter classes begin the first Tuesday in January, and summer classes begin the first Tuesday in July, as long as it doesn’t fall on a holiday.
Yes, the program is designed for students who wish to start immediately without waiting for the next live classes to begin. You can work on your own using the recorded classes.
Yes. Weekly classes are live. Students find more success in a group environment and additional support with their peers while attending an online program. All classes are recorded and uploaded to the training portal shortly after the live class.
Yes, the Reporter Training is for working court reporters or for newly-certified students who want additional training not covered in the Beginner Training.
You must be 18 years of age and have a high school diploma.
